Planning a Wedding in North Carolina?

We know planning a wedding comes with a lot of questions, especially when searching for the right North Carolina wedding venue. Our goal is to make the process as clear and stress-free as possible. Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions couples ask about planning North Carolina weddings at Inner Banks Inn and Mulberry Hill on the Sound.

Will there be other weddings going on while ours is?

NO! Inner Banks Inn is 100% Private use during your time with us! Only you and your guests will be allowed at the Inn.

What is the maximum number of guests for an indoor event or an outdoor event?

While we can accommodate many more guests with tenting, we like to think about avoiding tents whenever possible. Up to 200 is the maximum number of guests at our Event Center, Mulberry Hill on the Sound (without including tenting plans).

How many hours is the rental for the venue?

Your time on the property depends on the plan that you have purchased. Wedding events by Inner Banks Inn range from 10 hours to 2 days on property.

Do I have to set up and tear down?

Your personal coordinator comes with your wedding. She will handle all set up and tear down! You focus on your family and friends, and enjoy the memories you are making.

Can we use vendors who are not on your preferred vendor list?

You can use whomever you choose! It is YOUR wedding! There is never a fee to use a vendor not on our list.

What time does the music have to shut down?

Inside, we have no time limits on your DJ! He can play, as long as you want to pay him.

We don’t like an abrupt ending to your wedding. You know if you have a dancing group!

Is there a fee to use your décor, or outside lighting?

We have lot of décor that we loan out to couples at every wedding! There is never a fee to use anything. The lighting we have, is always there, and we wouldn’t dare impose a fee for that.

Is there a cake cutting fee?

NO! This is the worst fee ever invented, BTW, didn’t you pay for the cake?

Is your pricing all inclusive?

We are nearly all inclusive. You choose all the personalized items, such as DJ, Photographer, and Videographer. All the food, coordinator, and cake are included!
